Cassava AI Data Center (Nigeria)

Cassava Technologies is extending its NVIDIA partnership to Lagos, equipping its Africa Data Centres campus with dedicated GPU clusters as part of a 12,000-accelerator rollout across the continent. The Nigerian facility is scheduled to come online in 2025–2026, delivering high-density compute for local fintech firms, enterprises, and research institutions that have faced limited access to AI hardware. By hosting sovereign compute within Nigeria’s borders, Cassava aims to lower latency for AI workloads, improve data residency compliance, and complement parallel investments by regional telecom operators pursuing AI-ready infrastructure.
