Cassava AI Data Center (Morocco)

Cassava Technologies and NVIDIA intend to expand their AI “factory” blueprint into Morocco, introducing high-density GPU clusters that will serve startups and public-sector programs across the Maghreb. Following the South African launch and subsequent deployments in Nigeria and Egypt, the Moroccan buildout will contribute to a 12,000-GPU continental platform that keeps AI workloads closer to end users. The project complements larger hyperscale initiatives in the country and leverages Morocco’s renewable energy ambitions and strong connectivity to Europe to deliver sovereign AI services for francophone Africa.
