SAP runs AI Core infrastructure from its Walldorf, Germany headquarters data centers, powering Joule — SAP's AI assistant embedded across S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and other enterprise software. SAP AI Core provides the model hosting and inference layer for SAP's generative AI features, which are deployed on-premises at major German and EU enterprises. SAP's data center operations are located in Germany and adhere to German and EU data protection regulations, an important selling point for European enterprise customers.
