Diablo Canyon AI Integration Project

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has partnered with Atomic Canyon to deploy the Neutron Enterprise generative AI solution at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant in California. This initiative marks the first on-site generative AI deployment at a U.S. nuclear power plant. The AI system, built on NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform, is designed to enhance document search and retrieval processes, leading to significant cost savings and improved operational efficiency. While the primary focus is on optimizing plant operations, this project underscores the potential of integrating AI technologies within nuclear facilities to support various applications, including data center operations.
