DataVolt — Tashkent AI Data Center

DataVolt’s Tashkent facility is a $150 million “green” data center scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. With an initial capacity of 12 MW, it is designed to be the first in Central Asia specifically optimized for high-density AI workloads. The project is part of a broader $3 billion partnership between the Saudi company and the Uzbekistan government, aiming for a total cumulative capacity of 500 MW across the country. The facility is a cornerstone of the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy, providing sovereign AI infrastructure for local IT companies and government services while leveraging Uzbekistan’s growing digital ecosystem.
