AWS — Boardman & Arlington Expansion (Oregon)

AWS is significantly expanding its Eastern Oregon infrastructure, centered on the Boardman and Arlington corridors. With a project capacity of approximately 576 MW, the expansion supports the surging demand for AI and cloud services in the Pacific Northwest. The project includes the acceleration of the Boardman Airport South Campus and new 400-acre land acquisitions in Arlington. The facilities are optimized for high-density AI compute, leveraging Oregon’s low-cost energy and favorable climate for efficient cooling. This expansion reinforces AWS’s regional hub, providing the scale required for large-scale model training and high-throughput inference for global customers.
