EcoDataCenter — Borlänge AI Mega Campus

EcoDataCenter 2, located in Borlänge, Sweden, is a flagship AI expansion project built on the site of a former paper mill. With an initial capacity of 250 MW and scalability up to 600 MW, it is one of the largest AI-ready campuses in the Nordics. Groundbreaking occurred in September 2025, with completion of the first phase scheduled for early 2027. The facility is purpose-built for high-density compute clusters and large-scale AI training. It utilizes 100% renewable energy and is designed to provide waste heat to 10,000 local apartments, integrating deeply with the region’s circular economy.
