Yandex — Vladimir AI Data Center

Yandex is scheduled to open its sixth data center in the Vladimir region in 2026. With a capacity exceeding 40 MW, the facility is designed to support Yandex’s large-scale AI services, including YandexGPT and high-performance cloud compute. The site is interconnected with Yandex’s existing infrastructure via a massive 25.6 Tbps link, ensuring low-latency data processing across its national network. The project is a key component of Russia’s “Data Economy” initiative, providing the high-density power and specialized infrastructure required for sovereign AI development and national digital sovereignty.
