“Stargate UAE” is a landmark 1 GW hyperscale AI infrastructure cluster located within a larger 5 GW AI campus in Abu Dhabi. Developed by G42 in collaboration with Microsoft and OpenAI, the facility is designed to support the training and inference of the world’s most advanced AI models. Construction is well underway as of 2026, with the first 200 MW phase fast-tracked for delivery. The campus utilizes a modular architecture and advanced liquid cooling systems to manage the extreme thermal loads of high-density GPU clusters. It represents a central node in the UAE’s “Intelligence Grid” vision, aiming to produce 100 trillion AI tokens per day.
