This facility is purpose-built to handle the massive compute requirements of Azure AI and OpenAI services. The campus is designed with advanced sustainability features, including low-carbon construction materials and high-efficiency water cooling. It is one of nine new sites Microsoft is adding to its Australian footprint by 2026, bringing its total national site count to 29 across Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.
