The Cyberport Artificial Intelligence Supercomputing Centre (AISC) is Hong Kong's first large-scale, government-backed AI computing facility. Phase 1 officially commenced operations in December 2024 with a computing power of 1,300 Petaflops (PFLOPS), primarily utilizing NVIDIA H800 GPUs. The facility is slated to scale to 3,000 Petaflops by the end of 2025. To support the local ecosystem, the HKSAR Government has allocated HK$3 billion ($385 million USD) for a three-year subsidy scheme (AISS), allowing local universities and startups to access the facility at significantly reduced costs. The AISC is housed within the Cyberport 5 expansion, providing a Tier III+ data center environment specifically designed for high-density AI workloads.
