The facility is the first phase of a larger 3 GW gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure plan announced by Chairman Mukesh Ambani. The campus is specifically engineered to host large-scale TPU and GPU clusters for training Indian Large Language Models (LLMs) and powering national digital services. Powered by Reliance’s renewable energy portfolio, the facility utilizes advanced high-density power configurations and liquid cooling. This project positions Jamnagar as a primary hub for India’s “Sovereign AI” mission, providing the high-performance compute required for the country’s digital transformation.
