The Adani-Google AI Campus in Visakhapatnam (Vizag) is a $15 billion joint initiative between AdaniConneX and Google Cloud. Set to be India’s first truly gigawatt-scale AI data center hub, the facility will house massive TPU and GPU clusters specifically for training Indian Large Language Models (LLMs). The campus will be powered entirely by green energy from Adani’s solar and wind portfolios and is connected to a subsea cable network linking it to major Southeast Asian traffic hubs. Groundbreaking is scheduled for early 2026, positioning Visakhapatnam as a central node in the global AI infrastructure landscape.
