Equinix — SG6 Singapore AI Data Center

Equinix SG6 is a nine-story, “AI-ready” data center located in Singapore’s Jurong area, scheduled to open in Q1 2027. Representing a $260 million investment, the 20 MW facility is specifically engineered to host high-density AI and machine learning workloads, supporting rack densities of up to 100 kW. The campus features advanced liquid cooling technology (direct-to-chip) and is part of a high-connectivity cluster integrated with Equinix’s existing SG2 and SG5 sites. SG6 was one of only four projects awarded capacity by Singaporean authorities following the lifting of the data center moratorium, meeting strict sustainability requirements including low-carbon concrete and vertical solar integration.
