The 372,517-square-foot facility is specifically designed for the high-density cooling requirements of modern AI and machine learning workloads. With a planned total IT capacity of 40 megawatts (MW), DA12 aims to be a primary interconnection hub for enterprises and cloud providers in the southern United States, offering high-performance access to Equinix’s global ecosystem. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2026, with the initial phase coming online by late 2027.
