Inaugurated in November 2025, the Ooredoo-NVIDIA Sovereign AI Lab is Kuwait’s first specialized facility equipped with NVIDIA H200 GPUs. The lab allows government agencies and local enterprises to build, train, and run advanced AI models within Kuwait to ensure data sovereignty and security. It is integrated into Ooredoo’s local data center network, providing high-speed, low-latency access to GPU-accelerated compute. The initiative is a key part of Kuwait’s National AI Strategy, focusing on localized high-performance computing to drive innovation in energy, finance, and healthcare.
