Built on Eviden BullSequana XH2000 technology, the system combines a 3,456-node GPU booster with 13,824 NVIDIA A100 accelerators and a large CPU partition for converged AI and simulation workloads. Direct warm-water liquid cooling keeps the 240-petaflop machine highly efficient, earning top rankings on both the TOP500 and Green500 lists. Leonardo underpins European research programs ranging from climate digital twins and materials science to large language model development.
